Family Dentistry:
Maybe you’re new to the area and are seeking a local dentist for you and your family, or perhaps you’re dissatisfied with your previous dentist, or could it be that you haven’t seen a dentist in years? For whatever reason you’re searching for a new dentist, we welcome you to come in and share your personal concerns, goals and expectations.
Unlike a typical “quick check” dental visit, an initial comprehensive examination lasts at least one hour. The exam is very thorough and will include checking your jaw joints for any abnormalities, a visual oral cancer check, and an assessment of your tissues for evidence of periodontal disease. At this visit, we typically take a complete series of intraoral photographs and the radiographs needed to make a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan to address your oral health needs. If your treatment needs are extensive, we prefer to schedule a second consultation appointment to share all our findings with you and discuss your various options for treatment with all stages and in order of priority.
What do I need to bring to my first visit?
A list of any current medications you are using (you can obtain this list from your Pharmacy), including anything over the counter.
Insurance information, including policy and certificate number. We will gladly submit estimates and claims on your behalf.
Thank you! We look forward to meeting you!
